Dalanair - Commission for Zaloffshat

It's been a long, long time since I've finished a piece of artwork. I spent a lot longer on this drawing than I'm willing to admit, but at least I didn't give up on it halfway through like what usually happens. (I should do commissions more often. It's mutually beneficial. )

This character is ~Zaloffshat's OC, Dalanair. He's a pretty prominent protagonist in her universe of characters, and he's also my favorite! And handsome to boot.

This is easily the best piece of artwork I've created in over a year now. Nothing I did during my first year of college is worth a fat rat's patootie, so it was nice to crank out something that's actually pleasing to look at. I'm really proud of those hands, by the way! Really, really proud. I might be finally inching my way out of my rut... here's hoping that I can keep improving from here on out!
